FF8 Rumors

You will only find the most probable rumors here.  None of that:  You can do Time Travel and See Cloud!  Rumors here will be based upon the game and plot, not whims of FF7 rejects that want to make FF8 something that it's not.

FFVIII takes place on a less advanced world than FFVII.
In fact, it's supposed to be a different universe, but there will be some crossover.
Four people to a party.
Totally different magic system.
There will be a airship in the game.
FF8 will take place in a different time and universe than FF7. (MAYBE)
You can travel through dimensions.
The last boss is a secret orgaism that was living in Sephiroth's body which is very tough to deal with.
There will be a new system in the game were you will be able to breed and raise monsters for combat.
There will be more mini-games in FFVIII, including a chocobo shooting game and a sky-diving game.
The above rumors are possible, however not probable.

The logo is Ramio and his wife (there will be a wedding in the game. you're going to have lots of ladies to choose from, and how you play the game will determine who Ramio marries - kind of like ff7) Anyway, once the Dark Phoenix completes his evil plan and kills his other half, Ramio is able to thwart his further attempts at world domination by destroying him as well. With the two-headed phoenix gone, the world falls into chaos. Ramio and his love take their places to restore order to the planet. The logo is them undergoing that transformation, holding each other in their arms..."
